Reality Recap – #RichKids of Beverly Hills – Season 3, Episode 2 Recap – #RKOBH

Last night on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills the crew heads out to The Bahamas for EJ’s business trip. Here are the three most interesting things that happened in last nights episode:

1. Brendan Reveals Morgan’s Middle Name

Yes, I know you must be thinking, “Who cares?” or “Why is she reporting something this stupid?” But really guys?! This IS Rich Kids of Beverly Hills here. We aren’t solving any ancient mysteries or really digging into the lives of some really intelligent person. This show is pure drama and hilarity! Last night while in a confessional, Brendan reveals that Morgan’s middle name is Rangley. It was HILARIOUS. Morgan is so angry, she clearly hates that middle name. I got a kick out of this.

2. Then Brendan Keeps a Secret!

By now I hope that all of you #RichKids viewers absolutely LOVE the relationship between Brendan and Morgan. I know I do. Morgan is probably my favorite person on the show and in real life we could honestly be besties. As a girlfriend, she must be SO difficult to deal with. She is demanding, she is a diva, and she is high maintenance! (Wait, now I am describing myself. Ugh!) Although she is all of these, and many other things, Brendan loves this girl so much. (#RelationshipGoals) Throughout this episode Brendan explains to us how in love with Morgan he is. He talks about the things they have been through, their travels and how excited he is for their future. During another scene in this episode, Morgan is talking about babies and baby names. We see Brendan soon after, in the confessional, explaining that babies may not be too far away, but Morgan doesn’t know that yet! He explains that he is having a great time in the Bahamas but can’t wait to get back to LA so that he can ask her to marry him. All the while, Morgan has absolutely no idea.

3. Dance Floor Make Out

Later in the episode we see the crew all hanging out at a club in the Bahamas. They have been having a great time and the trip is coming to an end. Taylor-Ann explains to us that her and Bobby have connected because as they are both new to the group. Brendan has been trying to get the two together but earlier in the episode, Bobby revealed that it would not happen here, in the Bahamas, as he was trying to still get over this ex. After a few drinks and dances we see Taylor-Ann and Bobby kiss on the dance floor! Ah!

Kim Kardashian West Pregnancy Update

So after all the stress and hard work that Kim K has been putting into getting pregnant we have some news for you all. E! reported last night that the 34 year old reality television star is pregnant with her and husband Kanye West’s 2nd child! North West is going to be a big sister! Another Kardashian (Eh! Kardashian West) baby is on the way!

Will it be a boy or girl? I am thinking a girl but a boy would be great because then he could be besties with Reign Disick like North and Nelly. AH! Kardashian Kraziness!

Reality Recap – Keeping Up With The Kardashians – Mid-Season Finale – #KUWTK

Last night was the mid-season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and it was filled with interesting stuff. The episode starts where last weeks episode ended, with Scott just barely avoiding an accident in Montana. You see him yelling at another car that almost caused them an accident with a semi-truck. Scott pulls a U-turn and is angry. Everyone in the car is scared but at the same time they are mostly quiet. They understand why Scott is angry. Scott explains in the confessional that if he would have gotten in an accident and lost his family members he would have never forgave himself.

The rest of the episode is filled with the families last days in Montana. The group is happy that they are carrying on the tradition of family vacation. It was great to see the kids, running around the house, the sisters playing games, Scott enjoying his time outdoors, they really needed this getaway in the midst of everything they are dealing with. Khloe toasts at dinner to Kim, for making it all possible and putting it together. Mid-toast Scott also thanks Kim, sarcastically, for all of their careers. (Don’t worry, they were all laughing!)

Outside of Montana, Kris is travelling to London to present at an awards ceremony and then she is off to Paris to see Kendall walk in fashion week. Kris let’s us know that she wants to be there to support everyone during this tough time. In Paris, we see Kendall complaining that she is tired and also being pretty cranky. (#ModelProbs) At dinner one night she asks her mom why she is following her around saying that Kris is “obsessed” with her. (What a bratty thing to say!) Kris brushes it off and is not at all bothered by it. She explains that she misread Kendall and she thinks Kendall is handling the Bruce situation even better than she expected.

Back in California, we see Bruce, happy as ever, moving into his new home on a private drive in Malibu. Bruce is ecstatic explaining that he has bought multiple homes with his wives but this is his first real house. He picked it out himself, he gets to decorate it the way he wants to, and we see many women’s clothing items in his closet. He explains that he is going through a big transition and that he is excited for this home. It is the only place that he can get away from the paparazzi and he loves that.

Before they leave Montana, Kim has some business that she needs to take care of in terms of her fertility. She goes to see a doctor while she is out there to see if she is ovulating. Kim is exhausted and thinking about giving up on pregnancy. She decides that she is going to call her psychic friend, John Edward, to see what he thinks about her getting pregnant. He says that he does not see her conceiving now and that she needs to stop stressing and allow it to happen.

The day of their departure from Montana, Kim is in the car hurrying everyone out the door. Khloe is driving one car with Kylie, Kim and North in it. They are headed to the airport when Khloe hits black ice and spins out of control. Camera’s in the car show a seriously concerned Kylie Jenner, Khloe screams, “It’s not my fault! It’s not my fault!” and Kim yells that she is not wearing a seat belt. The car goes off road and the girls are fine but clearly shaken by the situation.

In a preview of the next half of the season, Kim tells us that she has seen Bruce as a woman and that she looks beautiful,  we find out Khloe has spoken with Lamar and Kris questions Kylie about birth control. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

Reality Recap – The Bachelorette – Season 11 – Episode 3 – #TheBachelorette

This week we were bound for a bore after hype was dropped about Kaitlyn sleeping with someone in last week’s previews. So if you were out partying on Memorial Day and missed this episode, mmmmmmaybe you just want to read about it and wait for next week.

Here’s what happened:

The Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em First Group Date

Daniel, Justin, Voted-for-Britt-but-not-ready-to-leave Jared, Corey, Kleenex-gifter Tanner, Kupah, Ben H and Ben Z are drawn for the  first group date.

The boys take boxing lessons from the tough yet lovely Laila Ali and, briefly, Ben Z beats the crap out of everyone.

It goes like this: Guys chase each other around the ring. Kaitlyn covers her eyes. The crowd moans. The bachelors land some punches. And Ben Z sends Jared to the hospital in the championship round.

Later at the evening date, the Bachelors flaunt their bluish-black eyes. An unscathed Ben Z leads off the alone time with Kaitlyn and captivates her with the story of his mother’s death when he was 14. Justin has a good interview talking about his son. The Rose-welder (He’d play Almonzo on a Little House on the Prairie remake.) does ok and Kaitlyn spends alone time with others but not Kupah. (Earlier she hinted that he couldn’t tear himself away from Ali.)

Jared interrupts the evening by showing up outside to sneak a walk and kiss with Kaitlyn but has to leave by doctor’s orders. Kaitlyn goes back to the  date and gives the rose to Big Ben Z and the other five bachelors’ float-like-a-butterfly egos deflate.

The Pool Photo-shoot One-on-one Date

Clint gets the alone date and clearly this guy has slipped under the radar. Athletchic has underrated him. (He went from don’t-know-who-he-is status to top contender.) The couple partakes in the new underwater photo-shoot fad, and Clint’s underwater pictures are hot. ( Who knew?)

He easily wins a rose from her at the evening dinner date when she says the underwater shoot was fun, they clang glasses for a toast, and he utters she took his breath away today. Kaitlyn is smitten’. She says he is a hunk of a man, and it may have been her best first date ever.

Comedy Club Group Date Number Two

Back at the ranch, Guru Tony talks love and flipping switches (Britt to Kaitlyn). JJ routes for other bachelors to do something stupid. The other bachelors laugh at Guru and loath JJ. The date card arrives. Seven guys are selected for group date two. And Guru awaits a sign from the universe that says Kate is for him.

The selected bachelors work with comedian Amy Schumer to prepare Improv speeches. Guru says he has been training for this his whole life. Chris says he is going to suck. And JJ wallows in self -confidence embellished by his Joker laugh.

This is how their comedy club performances go: Ian is nervous but survives (B+), Joshua is funny but gets dirty (B), Jonathon survives (too short to grade–the clip not the guy), Joe’s Tennessee twang saves him (B), JJ stinks (B-), Chris kills it (A) and Tony turns his comedy caper into a new age appreciation rant in which the audience turns on him (D+ for effort).

Then, don’t ask how, JJ gets the rose in the evening and his ego gets even uglier.

The Rose Ceremony

And uglier (JJ). He laughs at the Bachelors to their faces and taunts Tony relentlessly.

Before Kaitlyn arrives, the guys agree to allow those bachelors that didn’t get a date first divs on sitting with her. She arrives, talks, raises her glass, but before she can make a toast, JJ steals her away for a chat.

He says he’s there for her–not to make friends. He’s a fighter and a husband would fight for her. Then fortunately, Kaitlyn gives him the dodge when he attempts to kiss her. (Rerun it. She turns a cheek.)

He returns proud as a peacock, smug, cocky and accuses the others of mad jealousy.

Kupah and the Drama

Kupah blows his interview with Kaitlyn by inferring he’s not sure there is a connection. He says he doesn’t want to be there as a minority token, and then confuses everyone by saying he’d like to stay and get to know her.

Kaitlyn calls him out  for not trying to talk to her during the group date and said she originally thought they had a connection through music; that’s why she chose him. Kupah tries to backpeddle, but just gets in deeper. They argue. He says he feels like they are having a connection now and doesn’t want to leave. Kaitlyn is confused and needs time to think.

She goes off to sit alone, but  she can hear Kupah talking to the guys in the other room. She gets mad. Calls him out again and walks him to  the front door. He doesn’t want to leave, keeps drinking, but Kaitlyn sends him packing.

During the final interview before she hands out roses, Kaitlyn becomes distracted by a commotion outside. It is Kupah raking havoc with the producers during his final interview. He’s yelling into the camera. Kaitlyn gets up, heads for the door  and TO BE CONTINUED flashes across the screen……

Britt and Brady Sidebar

The Britt and Brady spinoff lingered on. The two loved it up all over town–and Brady asks the big question. Will she be his girlfriend? She accepts. “He’s my boyfriend,” Britt giggles. (Who does that?)

Athletchic was glad to see Brady was not wearing soccer shorts and tights but had a jacket tied around his waste. (Still sure Urbanati and Yang were cringing.) We’re wondering how long these little clips will be included. A few episodes? The entire season? (Until TV land can’t stand them any more?) Only time will tell, but for the moment, Cry-cry-cry Britt desperately hangs from the rafters while we all wonder if she really likes Brady or is just saving face.

We’re all about next week!

Reality Recap – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – Season 5, Episode 13 – #RHOBH

Sister Act

Five things that happened in last night’s episode

1. The aftermath of the Kyle-Kim-Brandi fight

Kyle, upset after her fight with Brandi and Kim, sits down at the gay mixer with Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and Eileen. Lisa Vanderpump reminds Kyle, “You feel how I felt last year.” Lisa tells her she tried to warn her about Brandi. Kyle reminds Lisa that she has tried to warn Lisa in the past. They both know who Brandi is and they know she is looking for a reaction. Kyle doesn’t understand what is going on with Kim because they just spoke the day before and things were good. Lisa Rinna is confused and wants to know why Brandi gets angry, why she does the things she does and what has happened to her in the past to make her behave this way. Eileen believes that Brandi is getting something from acting this way. She thinks it is the attention, whether negative or positive it is reinforcing her behavior.

In the meantime, Kim is telling Brandi she doesn’t understand her sister anymore. Brandi does not think she is wrong in this situation and says she will not apologize to Kyle for her behavior.

2. Lisa Vanderpump’s adopted son finds out about his heritage

Lisa Vanderpump has been struggling with the idea that Max wants to know more about his heritage. She is conflicted as she does not want to hold him back but at the same time, worried that he will leave her for his birth family. While shopping with her daughter, Pandora, Lisa tells her about Max and her worries. Both of them begin to cry in the store. Lisa reminds Pandora that they must be supportive of whatever he decides.

Max comes over with his results and tells Lisa he wants to see them. She asks why he hasn’t looked at them already. “Because I wanted to look at them with you. I feel weird.” Max says to her. Lisa asks if it is weird to see his birth last name. He says that it is. He finds out he is of Scandinavian and Irish decent.

Lisa can hold back no longer, “If you met your birth mother tomorrow, how would you feel?”

Max says that he doesn’t know if he would want to meet her but that things happen in life. His birth mother was in no position to keep him. He says, “Look where I am now! It’s better.” (Yes, you are living in a beautiful home with millionaires.)

He asks his mother, “Why? Are you worried about it?”

Lisa responds, “Of course! I have been worried about it since the day I picked you up!”

3. Brandi attacks Yolanda after yoga

Yolanda talked to Kyle about what happened at the gay mixer and she is starting to worry about Brandi. She invited Brandi over for some yoga at her home in Malibu. An immature Brandi, mid yoga pose looks to be praying and instead of being in the moment and relaxing she says she is praying that Kyle moves to Colorado. In the confessional she says, “Maybe Colorado is too close. Maybe in West Africa in that city where Ebola started.” (Real nice Brandi!)

The two finish yoga and Yolanda speaks to Brandi about what the girls have been saying about her. They say she has been drinking too much, that she is an angry drunk. Yolanda tells Brandi, “You can’t be acting like that.” Yolanda is trying to give Brandi advice, mother-to-mother. We all know Brandi has a problem with being told what to do, she confesses that this is making her want to drink more. Yolanda said she doesn’t want to hear things like, “Brandi is an alcoholic.” Brandi says that she is not and that if she was she would get help. Yolanda makes it clear to Brandi that if she has a problem, she can come to Yolanda for help. She says Brandi should not go out and drink so much because she starts acting like an “ass hole” and she cannot support that as a mother with grown children. She doesn’t want her kids to think that is ok.

After all of Yolanda’s advice, Brandi feels attacked. “You say I’m an alcoholic, you’ve heard that about your daughter,” Brandi says to Yolanda.

“Who said that?” Yolanda suspiciously questions Brandi.

Brandi had no good response since she was clearly making this up.

“Now you are personally attacking me when I am trying to help you. You want to stab me in the back? The one person who is trying to help you,” Yolanda snaps back at her. Yolanda lets Brandi know that the what goes around comes around and she shouldn’t put out such negative energy because it will come back to her and her children. (Don’t worry, based on Brandi’s tweets I think her and Yolanda are still friends. So are her and Kim. Shhh.)

4. Eileen plays peacemaker (It doesn’t go so well)

The situation between Kim and Kyle is really weighing on Eileen. Eileen lets us know that in the last 5 years she has lost two of her sisters. From this she has learned that life is too short and she believes the two need to make up. She takes the two out for lunch and tried to get them to make amends. Instead, this turns into a war that leaves both women crying. Kyle is offended that Kim does not stand up to her when Brandi belittles her after she has been such a good sister. Kim does believe Kyle is a good sister but said there are times where she has been hurt by Kyle and she is still holding onto them. Kim is still disturbed by the idea that Kyle keeps publicly bringing up stuff that they speak about in private. Again Kyle reminds Kim that it was Brandi who does that. (Kyle is right.) Kyle reminds Kim that her intention is never to hurt her. Kim doesn’t know that Kyle even knows what her intentions are anymore and thinks her intentions are “a little messed up”.

Eileen steps in and says that she does believe that Brandi is adding fuel to the fire. She asks the girls if they would be ok if Brandi wasn’t in the middle and Kyle says yes. Kyle believes that Brandi will eventually turn on Kim but says that Kim will have to find that out on her own.

Kyle’s feeling about the conversation, “Even though you are sisters, you get to a certain point where you say, ‘How many more times can you do this?’”

5. Lisa Rinna questions Brandi

Lisa Rinna meets up with Brandi at M Café for lunch. She is here to ask Brandi some questions that she is confused about. She starts by saying that there has been much conversation with the girls about Brandi and Lisa wants to figure her out. None of the girls understand why Brandi is so mean. “I am not mean,” Brandi responds. Lisa says that she has seen the aftermath of what happened with the Richards sisters. Brandi acts like none of that was her fault and says she has never had issues with Yolanda and only had issues with Kim at first and that was because Kim was using.

Brandi says that she loves Kim but that she feels like her older sister. Even though Brandi is younger than Kim. Lisa Rinna agrees believing that it is a weird dynamic. Brandi tells like that she cannot change who she is deep down to take care of Kim but she also cannot not be there for her and help her. Lisa believes that Kim is on something. Brandi says that she has not seen Kim smoke, drink or take anything. She said Kim is really sensitive to the topic of her sobriety so no one mentions it around her. No one will ask how she is doing, if she has been using, if she has been having trouble, etc. Brandi believes that they are doing this to protect her. Lisa feels not talking about it is not protecting her. She believes something has already happen. She believes Kim has already used. Lisa does not understand why no one will ever say anything to Kim.

Brandi says that maybe Lisa should do some kind of intervention to help all of the girls so that Kim won’t feel like she is being ganged up on. She tells her to talk to Kyle about it. Lisa says she will talk to Kyle because they are dealing with “someone who is in pain and suffering”.

Next time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills We see there is some kind of surprise party happening for Lisa Vanderpump. Kim and Kyle look to be talking or acting with puppets. (Are they in therapy here? I have no clue.) Lisa Rinna and Vanderpump talk about an intervention for Kim. It looks like eventually some of the girls confront Kim and she looks to be blowing them off. We will have to wait until next week to see what happens to clear all of this up.

Until then…

Reality Recap – The Bachelor – Season 19, Episode 6 – #TheBachelor

Shower-shy Brit and She-might-be-a-widow Kelsey were abruptly bumped off Athletchic’s favorite list last week. So we had to do a little Soule–searching for a new favorite.

Before tonight’s show, we considered two potential “favorite” replacements who seemed fairly sane: Jade and Whitney. (Although we’re still not sure we can get past Whitney’s voice.)

Then here’s what happened:

The Rose Ceremony unnamed[1] (3)

It may just have been the most dramatic rose ceremony ever.

Brit already had a rose, so it didn’t matter whether she wanted no children or 100 children. The rerun of Kelsey’s I-love-my-widow-story interview was so creepy that it made Life Time Channel Movies look like Disney stories.  And after six days and 21 hours, Kelsey was still rolling around on the floor. IMG_2643She cried, sucked oxygen, joked about brownies, said she deserved a rose and then whaled out a laugh that made the wicked witch of the west’s laugh sound like a whimper.

They interview Carly, Kaitlyn, and Pick-me-pick-me-I’m-a-virgin Ashley who asked to see Kelsey’s husband’s death certificate. (You doubt me, but I am pretty sure I’m right.)

Chris handed out the roses to: Sweet Jade, Not-a-virgin Kaitlyn, What’s-her-name Megan, Becca, Ashley, and (drum roll) Kelsey. Too-young-to-have-a-baby McKenzie and Too-nice-to-remember Samantha are sent home. The others are off to Deadwood, South Dakota.

The One-On-One Date

The Closet-virgin Becca gets the one-on-one date, and that’s ok because she’s sort of a sleeper (as virgins usually are).

The date goes like this: Becca gets on a horse. Chris says she’s smokin’ hot. They ride; they shoot. They giggle, flirt and Chris gives Becca the rose. But it isn’t like last week with Carly. It’s authentic. Becca is sincere. She’s sweet. She’s a little embarrassed and says no one wants their dad to see them kissing.

(Jade and Whitney move down a notch.)

Becca says the kiss was magical. It felt good. It was right. And when she lowered her head and used her inside voice to say “sorry dad,” I scratched a line through Jade and Whitney’s names and replaced it with Becca, the closet virgin.

But the show wasn’t over yet.

The Sorta Group Date

Whitney, Jade, Megan, Carly, Brit, and Kaitlyn are named for the group date. (Yippee!  Pick-me virgin and Love-my-story widow will have to face off in the two-on-one date. One of those babes is going home.)

The sorta-group girls compose their own country song and sing it not only for Chris and the others but for Big and Rich who arrive to boost confidence. (At least that’s what we thought.) At one point, Big skips hand-in-hand down the street with Jade yelling, “Feel the Freedom.” (I think he’s seen next week’s previews.)

Brit and Chris neck in front of Jade. Then the solos begin: Chris sings first (C-). Then the girls sing:  Brit (B-); Whitney (D+) (anything with the voice is going to hurt this chic); Kaitlyn (B); Megan (B); and Carly (A). Chris cries twice and says they all killed it. (Lie.)

They dance, sneak away for one-on-one time, and then (here comes the sorta part) Chris runs off to a Big and Rich concert with Brit where he hands her a rose on stage in front of hundreds of people.  Brit admits this is her virgin country experience. (What is with these girls and their fixation with virginity?) They return an hour later where the other girls can’t even pretend to be happy.

Chris back peddles and says he knows this is hard. The girls don’t buy it, so he cowardly leaves. (See ya Brit wouldn’t want to be ya.) Brit tries to apologize. Carly cries. Kaitlyn cries. And Whitney says Brit is gorgeous and cries.

The Two-on-One Date

It becomes clear quickly that these two girls are competing for least favorite contestant.

They fly past Mount Rushmore in a helicopter and land beside a lonely bed in the middle of nowhere. Then the fun begins.

Kelsey says she feels lucky. They drink. The wind whines. No one talks. Chris takes Pick-me Ashley aside, and she throws Kelsey under the bus. (Will they never learn?) But Chris says he appreciates her honesty.

Then Chris throws Ashley under the bus and tells Kelsey what she said. (OMG are we in grade school?) Kelsey puts her counselor voice on and struggles to survive. (Is this girl really a guidance counselor? We want to see those papers, too.)

Kelsey leaves, goes back to the strange bed, sits with Ashley and tosses her a stare that would make Hannibal Lecter shiver. Ashley runs away crying. She finds Chris. He says she’s no Eva Gabor (something like that) and sends her packing. Kelsey flashes a wicked, wicked smile. But then Chris sends her packing and all is right in South Dakota.

Chris flies away in a helicopter. (We are left hanging until Ashley appears in an “I’m Actually Very Smart” t-shirt on the Jimmy Kimmel show, talks lash extensions and  disappoints us by saying she and Kelsey took separate vans home—what a missed opportunity.)

Back at the ranch, the girls pop champagne when they realize Kelsey isn’t coming back.

We yawn. Well, it was a little better than last week, although without I’m-a-virgin Ashley and I-love-my-widow-story Kelsey, we are concerned that it might be boring from here on out.

Not. Previews blast across the screen. Sweet Jade posed nude in playboy. (Hope springs eternal.)IMG_2666

So after a week of Soule-searching Athletchic is back in the game with a new favorite—Becca the closet virgin—who knew?

Gosh I can’t wait for next week.  Vive le Becca!
