2015 GRAMMY Style Awards

I am a HUGE fan of awards season and it is definitely not because of the boring speeches. I am obsessed with the fashion on the red carpet. Sunday night we all watched the GRAMMY’s and although Kanye West, Rihanna and Paul McCartney lit up my world on the big stage, below are the women who lit up my world on the red carpet! (…and the ones who didn’t.) So we are going to show you our favorite and least favorite female looks from the 2015 GRAMMY’s using social media accounts of the stars themselves. So check it out:

Best Dressed

5. Gwen Stefani

Designer: Versace

Unfortunately Gwen did not post any pictures of herself at the GRAMMY’s on her social media accounts, so let us tell you about it. Gwen wore a beautiful, unique jumpsuit by Versace. The jumpsuit, strapless with a beautiful design across the front. The pants fell above her ankles. She wore the look with black pumps and an up-do. She is seriously timeless. Great job, Gwen!

4. Beyonce

Designer: Proenza Schouler

Does Beyonce ever not look amazing? She showed up to the GRAMMY’s in this amazing long, black-lace, form fitting gown by Proenza Schouler. We love that she went natural with her hair and makeup here. She looks stunning.

Check out the beautiful jewels she wore to accessorize her look!

She is absolutely stunning. We love you Bey!

3. Kim Kardashian

Designer: Jean Paul Gaultier

Hair by: Michael Silva Hair

Makeup by: Mario Dedivanovic

Hate all you want but this girl is a style icon. Kim Kardashian does it again in this beautiful Jean Paul Gaultier gown (more information about gown choice below). The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star cut her long locks two days ago and kills it with a fresh new do styled by Michael Silva. Her natural makeup with a nude lip, by Mario Dedivanovic finishes off the look perfectly.

The story behind this gown is that Kanye West, Kim’s husband (pictured with her below), found this dress online and thought it was stunning. He sent a picture to Kim and asked her if she liked it, which she did. Kanye told her it would be her GRAMMY dress! Great pick Yeezy, we love it!

2. Jhene Aiko

Designer: Alberta Ferretti

I am totally in love with Jhene Aiko’s look at the GRAMMY’s this year. She stepped out in this beautiful strapless gown by Albert Ferretti.

Her hair, makeup and accessories went perfectly with this look. Good job, Jhene!

1. Ciara – BEST DRESSED!

Designer: Alexander Vauthier

Ciara is my absolute FAVORITE of the entire night. She looks seriously AMAZING in this black Alexander Vauthier gown. This woman looks like she just stepped off the runway. Ciara, WE ARE OBSESSED! This is a dress I would die for! (..but what would I wear this too? Ugh! The simpleness of a regular life!) Check out the stunning pictures Ciara posted on her Instagram of her GRAMMY look:

This picture below should be in a magazine. SO high fashion!

OMG! I die every time I see this picture below. How strong and beautiful does she look?! Like a model! I want to be you, Ciara!

Worst Dressed

5. Rihanna

Designer: Giambattista Valli

Sure, Riri looks so cute twirling around in this huge pink dress but with a body like that — Are you really going to pick this outfit?! When she showed up late and stepped out of her car, I expected a grand entrance for sure. After watching her pull up her dress several times the camera zoomed out and all I could see was a pink poof.  Now don’t get me wrong, I love pink. I even love poofs however, this dress looks like an over-size loofah. I would wear this dress, if I was VERY pregnant or gained a lot of weight, not if I was Rihanna! I was instantly turned off by this. Sorry Riri!

4. Charli XCX

Designer: Moschino

Makeup by: Colby Smith

I know some people totally dig the female pantsuit-look but Charli XCX in a white tuxedo is so wrong. This girl is gorgeous but this look does nothing for her. (I do like the pink bow tie though.) Her makeup artist, Colby Smith, did all he could to save this poor girl but the outfit was too much. Her makeup is absolutely beautiful, Colby! We love it! Keep up the good work! As for her look…so bad it made our worst dressed list. (At least her puppy looks good!) See more below!

Poor Charli XCX, beautiful hair and makeup – terrible outfit.

3. Iggy Azalea

Designer: Armani Prive

Wow! Iggy, you find new ways everyday to increase my dislike for you, Sunday night it was your outfit AND YOUR HAIR! Iggy showed up on the red carpet wearing this form fitting Armani Prive cutout gown. (What is that ridiculous cut out near her shins?) Not only is this girls dress all wrong but THAT HAIR! That braid-crown looks more like a bird’s nest. IT IS HORRENDOUS! I am definitely not alone with my dislike for this look. (Be sure to check Iggy’s caption on her second picture!)

Iggy (below) not so pleased with people’s thought about her hair. (I guess I am a #basicbitch in her world. If basic bitch means I think that hair is ridiculous, then yes! I am definitely a basic bitch. #ByeBye)

2. Madonna

Designer: Givenchy

You never know what Madonna is going to do on a red carpet and Sunday night, she did this in Givenchy:

1. Jenny Lewis – Worst Dressed

Designer: Talula for Aritzia

Please, Please, PLEASE Google this look! This girl had not taken one single picture of her look (other than a weird selfie with Paul McCartney in which you could not see her) on her social media, and we all know why. BECAUSE IT WAS HORRIBLE. Jenny Lewis walked the red carpet in an ill-fitting white pantsuit with rainbows, weird boxy sun glasses and horrible shoes. I am actually happy I do not have a picture to show you because it would honestly ruin this post.

And that does it for the 2015 GRAMMY best and worst dressed list. Check back in with us for more style and fashion news!
